2011 Class Convocates
Students graduated from Didsbury High School over the weekend. Seventy-three students graduated Friday night in the school's gymnasium and $32,725 was given out in scholarships. Medallions were handed out to students who received the highest mark above 80 per cent in their course. The valedictorian, Daniel Pochapsky, took in the most medallions that evening for math, pure math, biology, chemistry and social studies. Other medallion recipients included Tyler Ridley for English, Ashley Christensen for social studies, Fabienne Vogeli for concert music, Emily Johnson for jazz music and French, McKenzie Code for guitar, Samantha Taylor for forensic science, Stephanie Hutcheon for leadership and Katie Bergeson for world history. Top female athlete of the year were Nicole Luft and McKenzie Code and James Lefebvre and Keifer Paulgaard for male. Lefebvre was also chosen as the all-around student.
