Weekend 3-on-3 tournament results

The 3-on-3 tournament that took place this weekend went well, with teams playing on both Saturday and Sunday.

The teams played under the names of some of the bigger NHL teams, but to simplify, the Chicago teams in both divisions were made up of only Didsbury players, and the other teams were mixed and matched from other towns and cities.

The results of the tournament are as follows:

In the novice division, Toronto beat Boston in the A final, New York beat Montreal in the B final, and Detroit beat Chicago in the C final.

For the Atom division final A game, New York beat Boston, the B final game, Toronto beat Montreal, and in the C final, Detroit beat Chicago.

Scott Sinclair, one of the event organizers, said that the tournament went off without a hitch.

“It went well,” said Sinclair, “we made some good money for the minor hockey association.”

He noted that this annual tournament plays a key role in fundraising for the association.

And above all, he said, “The kids had a blast.”
